eagerly awaiting the next solstice...

sometimes it's hard to see the green glass forest for the trees...

if you stare long enough, you can almost feel the cool ocean breeze brushing against your skin, almost hear the gulls fighting over fish heads no longer needed, almost, almost...

sun bathing...

tiny cactus flowers, each no larger than a pea, to rival Turkish 16th century miniature art...

shady characters...

the blues...

extravagance...

tagine heaven...

lost in the details...

the river of light meanders, creating shadow filigree and smile lines on my face...

veins...

just a short rest, then onward and upward...

after life...

navigating the murky undergrowth of age, forgetting can be an unwelcome and much loved creature...

Huh.  It's Wednesday today.  My last post was on Sunday.  I could have sworn I posted something on Monday and Tuesday...  I almost have vivid recollections of doing it...  almost... 

I'm just glad that memory loss will eventually disolve things that I want to forget...
