romania, day one...

 

This shot needs some editing, but it was such a good start to the trip I had to put it in!  This was at the restaurant tonight (caru' cu bere - "something with beer".... we never did find out) and it was amazing, both the food and the building.  Wow.

However, it took me about an hour to get this one post done, so this may be it for the next 10 days.... And then we all get to re-live the trip again!

uncontrolled chaos...

4 days to Transylvania... and I feel much like this photo.  Chaotic.  Unprepared.  Jumbled. 
But also very much looking forward to this new adventure!

Went out to Roseisle on the weekend to admire the fall colors - the patina on these old cars was incredible!
